In this retrospective study medicalVR software was used for visualizing collateral branches, or MAPCA’s in newborns with a congenital heart surgery. In 4 out of 7 cases new observations were found, which improves the preparation of surgeries (surgical planning). Moreover, the MedicalVR software and hardware were easy and intuitive to use, following the participants. This underlined the technical feasibility for the use of our VR software for this complex congenital heart disease.
