MedicalVR’s deformable 3D model technology was developed with funding from Kansen Voor West (KVW), an investment initiative supported by the European Union. The project (DMM VR) aimed to replicate realistic lung behaviors—including deformation, movement, and manipulation—mirroring the anatomical changes observed during surgery. With the support of this grant, MedicalVR’s engineers were able to accurately recreate these dynamics. By collaborating with our scientific partner, Erasmus MC, MedicalVR is currently validating the technology’s precision and effectiveness.
